      - put down your guns, pick up a woman - improv psych mysticism. music to say "man" a lot to.
      - honour killing in the name (right on baby mother) - another HEAVY slow burner.
      - burning down the man's city - a call to righteous arms. contains gratuitous use of the word "motherfucker" and a "space jazz" interlude.
      - breakbeat chlymydia - a spellbinding doom workshop, ending in skittish breakbeats. think corrupted meets the make up. this is our occult song.
      - purple imps - a hallucinatory tale of LOVE

I'm expecting great things, GER-EAT THINGS from Saturday night. I was reliably informed that this would actually be "better than totally awesome".

Who told you that? Bob Harris?

Nope. He simply told me it would be "amazing"

    • That was a lot of fun, thanks to all involved for your hospitality. One of the best pubs I've been to for ages, super nice landlord. Trebuchet was one of the best rock events I've witnessed, they punched me in the nuts and then some. We played as a two piece, Isa had fallen down a hole. I used an octave pedal, we now have a new side project called Scotch Bonnet

I can't wait to get my hands on this and pump out the album down the studio through the big p.a

    • Thanks for coming down and changing my life or as my friend Tom put it “Shake things up a little”.

They have booked us to play a Zappa weekend in November.

My personal highlight was the shout of “Pagan Woman” from young Rich during some tasty drumming.

    • i was more beast than man this night. my favourite bit was will's plectrum toss at the end. it was unexpected and it almost took me crashing to the floor.

looking forwards to the mobilisation of black saXX/scotch bonnet/black bonnet/scotch saXX

i think we should never settle on a name. simon is well up for some horn and shaker action. it's going to get HECTIC.

    • I liked the Stone Turner GYPSY track, that was my highlight. It was awesome. I felt compelled to press my head lovingly against the PA speakers so I wouldn't miss a sonic droplet of thee actshun.

      It made me weep.

      (black) Tears of joy.
