I saw quite a bit of live comedy last year. Ricky Gervais and Michael McIntyre were both good. I was a little disappointed with Dave Gorman's bike tour. It was ok, but nothing special.

I went to a comedy night a few weeks back and the headline act there was very good, a black chap whose name I forget who I noticed was on McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow thing the other week.

      Reginald D Hunter?

He's mint. Going to see him in Stoke May 2nd. Can't wait!!!

I'm not sure who it was. I may be getting confused with Reginald D Hunter, who is pretty good, as it may have been him I saw on tv (I was in a pub so couldn't hear it). It wasn't him I saw live though. I'm confused!

Flight of the Conchords are touring in May, the ones who play Dave and Mel are doing support, but no sign of Murray :(

Seeing Dave Gorman end of the month and Rob Brydon was brilliant back in Nov :D

Also very much enjoying Rhod Gilbert.

Rhod is quality! Seeing Frankie Boyle at City Hall in April again - should be awesome, saw him at the Memorial Hall last time and he was superb - proper crying through laughter stuff!

    • Reg Hunter is American, Stephen Amos is from London. Both are very good.

Reg Hunter was on The Bubble last week, I think? I like him. Saw John Bishop when I went to Fighting Talk live and thought he was very good.

I've got tickets for Richard Herring in Sheffield, never seen his stand-up so I'm intrigued.

I've seen Richard Herring a few times - if you 'get it' he's very good, but he can become a bit of a twat if he doesn't win the audience over straight away.

Wow! Fighting Talk live sounds like a brilliant idea! How did you get onto that?

    • Jim Jeffries, very un PC, but contravened my slightly racist attitude towards Australians a bit

    • Milton Jones is my new fave, just amazing.

I'm going to see Shappi Korsandi in Barnsley in May, and hope to go and see Milton soon too.

Russel Howard was amazing back in December.
