CHUNK is an independent music and art space based in Meanwood, Leeds.
Priding itself on being a DIY endeavour, and run as a collective, Chunk aims to promote musical talent and art, providing a platform for artists to create and share ideas in a conducive environment.
On 23 January 2016, Chunk are holding an all-dayer at the Brudenell Social Club in order to raise funds which will be used to buy new equipment / carry out repairs and put on more exciting shows at the venue. Aiming to reflect the diverse and inclusive nature of the space, the all-dayer will feature live music, comedy, spoken word and poetry.
We will also be featuring stands with local distros, zines and artists reflecting Leeds’ vast music scene. Everyone is welcome, no cliques, no hate, no genre restrictions just good times and a series of sights/sounds. Bands / comedians / poets / spoken words acts confirmed so far include Cowtown, Human Certainty, Healing Powers, Zozo, Cottonwoolf, Sean Morley, Jack Gordon, Karl Whiting, Oil and Ecate. If you are a local label, distro, zine artist or otherwise and would like to display your work at the all dayer please get in touch!
