Big Spaceship Presents a late afternoon / early evening of terrifying audioscapes in the vein of : -
NECRO DEATHMORT
Necro Deathmort like stitching together vast and heterogeneous genres such as Sludge and Electronica and then ripping them apart in an instance, your ears will gawp at the ensuing auditory madness their music invokes. Prepare for a very loud and hellish experience.
The last few years have saw Necro Deathmort play Sonar, Supersonic, Asymmetry, CTM, Soy and Audioscope festivals, as well as internationally renowned doom-fest Roadburn. They've remixed Steven Wilson, Ulver, RA, Dead Fader and Altar of Plagues, and have also played alongside Ulver, Atari Teenage Riot, Godflesh, GY!BE, Shining (NOR), Ufomammut, The Haxan Cloak, Dub Trio, dUSK, Sleep, and Altar of Plagues.
Their new record, modestly entitled 'EP2', will be out soon on Distraction Records and will be available as a limited run of 333 on 12" on the day.
GHOLD
Back again to spread the evil seed of sludge metal on our ear fields, Ghold bring with them new material off of their widely anticipated new full length album. Having released two EPs recently to critical acclaim, there will be no doubts as to their ability to impress as they swipe away any preconceptions you have about two-piece metal bands. Ghold are HEAVY, Ghold are LOUD, Ghold will knock your filthy socks off.
'Judas Ghoat' and 'Galactic Hiss' are available via their bandcamp. We advise you to get them in your life.
CATTLE
Two drums, bass, voice, theremin and 4 humanoids from Leeds.
"...When the distortion kicks in, they evoke a flavour of early Big Business, but what is most appealing is the fact that this band feels totally unique, inimitable..."
- The Sludgelord
"...Their twin drummer and shuddering bass assault possessed of a level of purpose and attack I’d not heard before"
- Steve Walsh, Vibrations Mag
IRK
Bass and drums and voice make up this 3-piece. A cacophony of uber elastic riffage and stoner Tomas Haake beats. Raised on coffee beans and cured meats alone, IRK present an intense style of noise rock that will leave you standing so stiff your muscles will ache.
Grab their EP from bandcamp now, its bloody good.
