And spill your pint. And take a chair shot. And clamber the ceiling. You think Macho Man was on coke during all those classic promos!? Nah mate. He was listening to Super Luxury in the changing rooms.

     Massciot:
     We’re told this is the best band Action Beat had the pleasure of playing with on tour in a long time, Massciot play their first ever show in MCR. After witnessing their greatness in Lyon, Action Beat Head honcho Don McLean demanded they let him organise their first tour of the UK, now here they are. All-female no-wave krautrocking all-consuming brilliance. With the agressiveness of a tiger in Formica, Massicot oscillates between frank and noisy moments and hypnotic, repetitive phases. An obsessive, rythmic guitar, a modeled bass, a violin as an free electron, tropical kraut drums led by latvian poetry form a mass, a constellation of electrical dinosaurs, imported pineapples, cloud-drawings, intricate rhythms and Dada-jokes.

     Chichaloyoh:
     Chicaloyoh is Alice Dourlen’s solo project. Creating music between soundscape exploration and intimate contemplation, Chicaloyoh is a mix of guitar, keyboards and percussions from distant and various horizons. Chicaloyoh is a one woman band that will attract those who like the priestess singings of Inca Ore or Nico. Together with High Wolf she plays as Woodoo Mount Sister, who toured Italy and the USA last year. Chicaloyoh has already released tapes on Bumtapes, Dial square tapes, Clay Ruby’s (from Burial Hex and Second Family Band) label Brave Mysteries, and more recently, a full-length LP on the french label Faunasabbatha.

     Bear Bones, Lay Low:
     Hailing from Venezuela, now based in Belgium, Ernesto González makes music as Bear Bones, Lay Low. Active since a teenager in the Belgian noise underground, González’s music has evolved from spontaneous bedroom noise/drone explorations to colorfully psychedelic electronic music where analog synthesis meets fuzzed-out guitar freak outs and entrancing rhythms. He has also been part of psychedelic jam band Sylvester Anfang II since 2006 and is part of numerous musical projects including the drone duo González & Steenkiste (with Sylvester Anfang II bandmate Hellvete) and Sayona, a freeform dark electronics collaboration with Shazzula of Black Mass Rising and formerly of psych head bangers Aqua Nebula Oscillator. Bear Bones, Lay Low has released music in various formats and labels such as Gipsy Sphix, Young Girls Records, Sloow Tapes, Cabin Floor Esoterica, Full Of Nothing and KRAAK, who released his latest LP « El Telonero » in 2012.
