    • Yeah, I know list threads aren't cool, but I'm satisfying a NIN fix through YouTube and it made me think of my favourite music videos (not favourite bands/songs, but vids). So here are some of mine from the top of my head, more to come.

Nine Inch Nails - The Perfect Drug - I can only find this remix version, but it is the best goth by numbers video viewing ever.

Johnny Cash - Hurt - watched this on TV after his death, nearly made me cry.

Unsane - Scrape - the MTV video of my early teen years. Simply classic, classicly simple.

Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy - no explanation needed, go to 4:21 in.

Roots Manuva - Witness - I love how one of the most iconic British hip hop tracks has such a silly video - no women gyrating, no flash cars, no money flashing shit. Just pissing around.

Coldplay - The Scientist - I don't like the band, but like this vid although the backwards vid thing was done previously by...

The Pharcyde - Drop - vid by Spike Jonze.

Chemical Brothers - Elektrobank - also by Spike Jonze, with Sophia Coppola as the star.

Fu Manchu - Asphalt Risin' - I break my own rules here as there's nothing special about the vid but I saw this when I was about 15 and I can trace back massive chunks of my life since to seeing it that night on Headbangers Ball.

List yours (with youtube links if poss)....

      Me too. Superb

      Also:
      Beastie Boys- Sabotage
Great song, hilarious vid- bit of an obvious choice.

      Red Fang- Prehistoric Dog
Pretty cheap and cheerful but always makes me laugh. Reminds me of a lot of people at school.

      Off!- I Don't Belong
A short sharp blast of perfect Hardcore Punk and a vid where the payoff comes from the fact that the band's singer looks pretty much interchangeable with the homeless people mouthing the words previously.

      Manowar- Gloves of Metal
There's a fine line between genius and madness. The most 'Heavy Metal' promo you'll ever see.

Although this runs it pretty close. Hilarious...
Dream Evil- The Book of Heavy Metal

Their new album keeps growing on me, so good.

My LP finally arrived yesterday. I concur; so good.
