    • Awesome, we're getting EHG over here a lot now, they've finally realised the UK loves them!

I did but only because we got an email last week about this, suprised me too.

    • The last Ramesses album was weird (Possessed By The Rise Of Magik 2011) I think a lot of people kinda dropped them/stopped talking about them after that.

Lets just say his attempts at a melodic clean singing style were maybe overambitious as he sounds like some seriously wonky drunk dude tryng to hold a note... in a cave.

Shame as there's some good songs on it (mostly the ones where he doesn't sing like that), Whoever said, "yeah man that sounds wicked" to those off kilter vox needs a serious word with themselves.

    • Ramesses are a bit weird live, but I've loved the last couple of releases, especially Take the Curse.

Dopefight are capable of skinning bears onstage without missing a note.

      EHG are becoming massive now.

Take The Curse was brilliant, but Chrome Pineal (2011, vinyl only I think) and Possesed By The Rise Of Magik (2011) took a real nosedive in quality, all thanks to the bizarre vocal choice. I can deal with the "raw" production and the loose playing style but those vocals... man they're just so off kilter and off key that I just can't get past them.

    • Just had a listen and I think they work in places, but sound awful in others, it's weird when people try something so unsuited to the genre or style where their previous stuff has sounded so good.

I'm not the biggest Ramesses fan, saw them with 5ive years ago and with someone else at Corp a few years later, they bored me to death live so I've never checked the records out.

    • I like them. I love Misanthropic Alchemy.

This is the only album of theirs I do not have..I think it may stay that way. Talking of Drunk vocals..I just bought LA Woman.
