    • Looks like a great gig, gutted I can't make it!

    • How was this? Sorry I missed it.
Plus anyone got the new palehorse album? any good?

    • I was about to head out to this and fell asleep on the sofa midway through putting on my right shoe.

I've missed Manatees 3 years on the trot now. Bad form

    • Wasn't too bad a night, but weirdly enough I liked the first two bands the most!!

At A Crawl - Absolutely brutal, crushing rhythmic doom. Like Black Cobra fronted by Randy Blythe.

Nitkowski - Interesting widdling instrumentals, a bit like Russian Circles wish added Rush and King Crimson.

Palehorse - Bored me. Call it true doom, I thought they missed a serious trick by having two bassists who both play the same thing.

Manatees - Confident and loud, pretty accessible. Although I was rather drunk by that point.

      Work today was nasty!!

    • Bumped into one of the Nitkowski guys tonight.

He said he Palehorse set was new except for one song. So that it was boring sounds a bit worrying, but I haven't checked out the new album yet.

Might see Nitkowski them in Bristol next week though.

Summed up pretty well. I think I liked Nitowski a bit more though.

Yeah I thought I wasn't going to dig Nitkowski, but in the end enjoyed what they brought to the table. Wouldn't mind hearing more...
