   • I'm happy to report that Immortal still don't muck about and are releasing a boxed set version of their forthcoming album which is actually made of iron. No messing.
     
     They sounded like a budgie in a tumble dryer the first time I saw them in (cough) 1995 but their later live gigs were excellent, genuinely excited about the new album.
