   • Honest rock and rollers TREBUCHET will soon be HITTING THE STUDIO to record their 2nd album….which is to be called…. SOLID GOLD. News has been leaked from the usually reserved and secretive singer and part time Historian…’Andrew MAZZ Maslen’ that the artwork will feature the four members of the power rock quartet in the guise of four Oscar statues. Dave ‘undiscovered talent’ Grout comments that “This is some of the best material that we have written. It’s so strong that it will make your balls bleed and you’re brain split in two”. Having heard some of the tracks I can’t disagree with his factually correct observation.
     
     This is a low down on the ten tracks of temptation.
     
     
     POWERZONE – Fresh and tasty… a complete rip off of the intro to Thunderstruck by the AC/DC. This song IS late 80’s AC/DC..it really overstays it welcome. 10/10
     
     ROCK AND ROLL AMERICA – Bruising, clumsy, ramshackle. This song has the potential to fall apart at any moment…it just about hang on. 10/10
     
     LAS VEGAS HIGH ROLLER – Hypnotic ‘Amboy Dukes’ style power rock freak out with an evil & aggressive breakdown section twix the verses. Joseph of Arimathea once said after hearing this song “That’s fucking righteous” 10/10
     
     USA- A OK – Girls will like this one…Girls. It makes you move, lazy repeated vocals but a crazy riff from Grout’s chest of insane riffs makes this song A CLASSIC. 10/10
     
     LOVE CHASER – Late Bad Company mixed with Whitesnake 2000. There’s a dirty key change in this song that Mazz can’t handle….but what the hell…he’s tries to sing over it anyway. Heart felt lyrics, emotional vibes and a stomping chorus will stick in your heart…forever. 10/10
     
     DON’T LET THE MAN GET YOU DOWN – Head nodder….head nodder…head nodder…YEAH! Awesome song…Potential sound track to the summer riots or last spliff riddled BBQs. 10/10
     
     GETTING MUCKY IN KENTUCKY – A Thin Lizzy style balls out rocker. This song contains the best Key change EVER. That is a fact…a rock and roll fact. This song could change the world. 10/10
     
     DIRTY DOGS - Mind blowing social commentary that uses the intro from Burn by Deep Purple before ripping off the main riff from "You've got to fight for your right" by the Beastie boys...ends up sounding like Early Alice Cooper fucking the Stooges. 10/10
     
     TURN IT UP - A song concerning itself with TURNING IT UP! Hard thunder boogie. 10/10
     
     RESSURECTION (JESUS IS GOING WILD) - Fuzz, stoner balls to wall rocker about JESUS fucking CHRIST. 10/10
