     Nadja is a duo of Aidan Baker and Leah Buckareff from Toronto, Canada creating what has been called "ambient doom" -- music that combines elements of metal, shoegazer, ambient, post-rock , experimental, and neo-classical. They have released numerous albums on such labels as Alien8 Recordings, The End Records, and Conspiracy Records and have toured extensively including appearances at such festivals as Roadburn, FIMAV, and SXSW.
     
     They create ambient-drone-metal, combining ambient electronics and fragmentary vocals with snail-crawl, epic riffs and dirge-like percussion, all tempered with a certain ethereal melodicism such that the listener is enveloped in a swirling, sublimating wall of amorphous, cacophonous sound.

     Castrovalva are Anthony Wright (bass/noise manipulation) & Daniel Brader (drums/noise manipulation). The band are based in Leeds and are part of the city’s growing emperimental rock scene alongside The Fucking Tank, Pulled Apart By Horses, These Monsters, Humanfly, Bilge Pump and The Velvet Orchestra to name but a few. They produce harsh improvisational bass-driven progressive rock reminiscent of influences such as Lightning Bolt, Xbxrx, Hella, Arab on radar & Oxes
