Musical Instrument Insurance

    • anyone know anything about this sort of stuff?

the fire alarm at our practice studio went off the other night and it got us to thinking. we have maybe 2 grands worth of stuff down there, if it went we'd be buggered at replacing it.

we'd need cover for storing it at the practice room where other people have access to the main room but not the store room, and preferably covered in cars / vans / venues.

      cheers

    • nice one. i suspect some of it may be covered under the house insurance but i dunno, need to check with mega brains Si on that.

i think i'd prefer to have instruments covered separate to the house though as its never here.

    • well what you pay each time you rehearse should include contents insureance from the landlord unless they are cunts...

    • I used to use victorcknight.co.uk. Cheap & they specialize in Music gear. This year I got an extention on my home insurance with Endsleigh for all my music stuff.
