   • Last Good Sleep are looking for a drummer to play/write/collaborate in a serious but part-time doom/progressive/ambient band. This is the same band that played a one off gig in 2006 but with a (slightly) new line-up.
     
     The current members are:
     
     Walton (ex Reth) - vocals
     Jon (A Forest of Stars, Electric Mud Generator, ex Tangaroa) - bass/guitar
     Rob (Executive Distraction Tasks) - guitar
     
     
     We've recorded demos of 3 full tunes and ideas for a further 2 tunes which we can send to anyone that's interested. There's also at least 2 more in progress unrecorded. The new material is pretty varied; generally a mix of more subtle and dynamic acoustic passages, with quite brash and ugly heavy parts.
     
     The main aim for the band is to be a studio band first and live band second. We plan to professionally record everything and do the odd gig here and there, but the focus is on writing. This isn't the sort of band that practices with any regularity so if you're already in other bands, this shouldn't take up as much time as a normal band does.
