      is it cool jsut to send a cv through email without there actually being an actually job to appy for also do emails require a covering letter?

      Apparently only 20% of jobs are actually advertised so its up to us to seek out the other 80%, so I reckon cold covers need a bit of work to stand out from the crowd, companies probably receive loads....

    • You definitely ought to send a covering email with an attached CV if you're not answering a specific application. Lay on thick how totally "awesome" you think the company is, and why you'd love to work for them in particular, you're more likely to hear back.
