   • Has anyone installed Linux on a ps3?
     
     I have never used Linux before but am considering installing it on my ps3. I don't really know what to do, although I have found plenty of guides on tinternet. There are loads of different operating systems available and I have no idea which is best. Any advice welcome!

   • Not sure about on PS3 but installing and maintaining linux systems is a big chunk of my job. As for which 'flavour' to use it's really down to personal preference. I'm a big fan of debian, which is an older distro that ubuntu is based on. It's worth getting a few different 'live cd' releases and trying them out to see what you like best.

   • Having done some more reading up on the subject I probably won't bother at the moment. I think I'll get a wireless keyboard and make do with the PS3 browser for now.
