SD Distro mega-update!!

    • OK, so SD is getting a swanky new shop made (hopefully!), because the old one is quite a pain to add to and maintain... I have a lot of new trades and wholesale bought CDs and LPs lying around at the moment that aren't on sale, and as SD is a little tight for cash right now, I thought I better offer them up to find a lovely new home! These prices are a little less than I'd normally ask. I want to shift some stock!

So here's a list with descriptions and prices. NineHertz isn't affiliated with Sound Devastation Records, so don't bug them if I somehow cock everything up... :P PM me with what you're interested in and I will give you details of how to pay!

      Postage goes like this: £1 (CD & 7"), £2 (LP) & £3 (2xLP), £4 (3xLP).

      CDs:

Akephal - s/t - £5 (Dark and brutal hardcore inspired by bands like Uranus, Acme or His Hero Is Gone)
Astarte - Demonized - £3 (Hilariously bad artwork [worth the money alone], but genuinely promising all-girl doom on ever reliable Season Of Mist)
Ataraxia - La Malediction d'Ondine - £4 (Italian band doing weird medieval sounding rock-based tracks. Odd but strangely cool)
Bongzilla - Nuggets - £5 (Awesome - you know the score with these guys - slow and all about the stoned riffs)
Ghosts of Breslau - £3 (Strange, haunting industrial sounds invoking images of World War II)
Herosagil - Colossal - £4 (Fans of Electric Wizard and Sourvein need apply - colossal is the right word for this heavy, thundering album)
Hintergedanken - s/t - £3 (Creepy ambient record meant for listening with the lights off)
Kuu - Suomi or The Well of Impossible Wishes - £4 (Electronic rock with violin and poems as lyrics. Beautiful relaxing music)
Moloken - We All Face The Dark Alone - £3 (Nice EP with great packaging. Swedish epic metal - that country sure can knock them out!)
The Evapatoria Report - Golevka - £5 (Stunning post-rock that everyone should own. Not your bog standard - this is post-rock done perfectly)
Transistor Transistor - Erase All Name & Likeness - £5 (Brilliant varied records from bursts of aggressive screamo to heavy epic tracks - members of Orchid show their musical pedigree once again)
Vuur - Vuurviolence - £3 (Great album in simple packaging. These guys have been around a long time and have done a split with SD's own Amenra. Rorschach and Acme spring to mind. Unfortunately recently split up)

      7":

Daniel Striped Tiger/Sinaloa - split - £3 (Politically motivated Ebullition-styled PROPER emo. Sinaloa are ace, DST are a great surprise)
Catena Collapse/Sinaloa - split - £3 (Sold Out everywhere I can find. Again amazing screamo/emo slab of wax)
      Division's Ruin - s/t - £3 (Irish, slow dark melodic crust w/ female vox)
Down To Agony - Requiem Por Un Mundo Enfermo - £3 (Awesome Spanish crust punk who did a split with SD's Fall of Efrafa. Lavishly packaged)
Fucked Up - Dangerous Fumes/Fixed Race - £3 (The mighty punk of Fucked Up offers two tracks for your delight. Nice packaging too)
Skitkids/Nightmare - split - £3 (Ace record between two crust bands. Probably the thickest 7" sleeve I've ever seen!)
Skitsystem/Cyness - split - £3 (Crust and Grind collide in this intense split. Cool packaging once again)

      LP:

Anaal Nathrakh - Eschaton - £6 (Evil heavy unrestRained brutality once again from AN. This is on the limited RED version)
Burial Year - Pestillence - £5 (Amazing German screamo, known and loved by many. Great record)
Cave In - Perfect Pitch Black - £6 (What to say about this band? Influential and essential. Amazing come back record after the mainstream wobble that was Antenna)
Off Minor - Some Blood - £6 (Nothing to say but awesome. Lovely packaging too. Basic essential listening)
Omega Massif - Geisterstadt - £5 (Amazing record by a band really getting a name for themselves in Europe. Sludgey post-metal. This pressing has all but sold out. Gatefold sleeve. Price is low because the records arrived to me slightly damaged. PM me for details)
Planks - s/t - £6 (Great looking record, greater sounding record. Old Man Gloom meets Coliseum meets His Hero Is Gone? Oh my!)
Textures - Drawing Circles - £5 (Messugah inspired thunderous metal. Simple packaging. Last seen in the UK touring with Twin Zero)

      2xLP:

      Bossk - .1 & .2 - £8 (Epic post-metal from the UK. On limited YELLOW vinyl)
Burst - Origo/Prey On Life - £8 (Amazing forward thinking metal. Two albums in one package! New album 'Lazarus Bird' out soon on Relapse. Get familiar with them now with this great vinyl!)
Swallow The Sun - Hope - £8 (Finnish death/doom present their most mature and accomplished album to date.)

      3xLP:

The Ocean - Precambrian - £11 (Offering this for an insane price. Each record is heavyweight and coloured with an effect. The gatefold wallet is printed inside and out with all the crazy effects the CD had - UV gloss, silver ink. Stunning music from these crazy metallers. Every and any awesome vocalist of past 10 years seems to guest!)
