    • Been offered a gig near Nottingham at the Diamond in Sutton-In-Ashfield on a Thursday night in October with a band called the Hard Luck Saints

Anyone know anything about the place/band? Is anyone likely to turn up?

    • I live in Nottingham and I've never heard of the town, let alone the band or venue. :s

I don't know though. Think there's a few other people on here from Notts that might know better than me...

    • Here?

They have a lot of stuff on. I've never been though. Guess it's a 'local' place.

    • They mainly do tribute bands, it's a well-run place though, not sure if it's worth a 400 mile round trip on a school night though Ollie

    • Don't do it mate, it'll end up being a working mans club, it will be shite. I know the area well from my lady killer days. Not literally. I'm not the yorkshire ripper.
