     believe it or not, helmet and quicksand were major influences for me writing bumsnogger riffs. awesome bands, awesome riffage

   • Yeah Helmet are still pretty much my favourite 'metal' band, mainly cos they are so un-metal. Sadly looks like Page should give it a rest now though, a bit weak recently

   • That reminds me of this video I came across the other day of Jimbob Taint and friends playing Wilma's Rainbow at a 'Stars In Their Eyes' night. Vocals aren't great but the rest is pretty spot on. Plus, I didn't know Jimbob played drums.

   • Helmet's Meantime is a classic album...I was only thinking the other day I need to stick it on my ipod. I also used to play the shit out of Quicksand...and for some reason now I fancy listening to Fugazi!!!!
