   • Take one German band, add the influences of Black Sabbath, Hawkwind and Led Zepplin, mix in a blend of musical genres such as doom, stoner, psych and classic rock, not forgetting a heavy pinch of the 70′s and you have Kadavar. The contemporary trio have made a meteoric rise following their debut S/T album, which was released through Tee Pee + This Charming Man Records this year. Hailing from Berlin, the hairy three are Lindermann, Mammut and Tiger and, reflecting on their modern slant of a by-gone musical era, we can’t beat one reviewer’s quote: ‘You can’t reinvent the wheel but you can roll it’. Flares, beards and undulating hair is not a requirement to experience Kadavar at Desertfest 2013.
