    • 'The Harrowing of the North' has been out a week, as well as the review from the lovely boys at 9htz, check these little clips....

"....Wiht manage to straddle several genres with ease – the expansive ebb and flow of low end fuzzed out psychedelia tempered by huge, driving walls of stoner doom. Intricate, swirling guitar mixes with urgent percussion and crashing, heavy evocative aggression.........What it actually is sonically is a work out by some incredibly talented musicians challenging and stretching themselves to create something that is powerful and at times hypnotic."

"....The record’s theme centers on the raiding of towns in the north of England by William the Conqueror around the turn of the first millennium AD, and as the 3-piece rise and fall over rich waves of sonic beauty, it’s as if you can actually smell the rats pissing in the smoke-filled streets of 1069......That they’ve chosen to theme an instrumental debut album on such a complex theme shows not only that they have balls bigger than King Kong, but that they are proud and passionate about their native northern lands....Wiht take us up the mountains and down the valleys of the ancient countryside, using riffs, thundering basslines and deliciously interwoven layers of esoteric guitar to guide us around this landscape filled with both excitement and fear."

"....the band pulls out all the stops with constant surprises, the gentle piano at the 16 minute mark and the beautifully emotive melody that soon follows is just one jaw-dropping moment of intellectual musical depth and there is many more bits and pieces that are equally as stunning...This is a stunning 33 minutes of music delivered here and one that I really can't find any flaws with at all. The music is unleashed with the utmost precision and some of the grooves especially in the bass work are amazing. This album is incredible - end of story."
