    • Yoyo.

      So, I have arisen from the ashes and now have a new band and were looking for decent places to rehearse in London Any suggestions I am all ears!

      Line up is;

      Martin Ives (Charger / Labrat etc)
      Me (Six Foot Squirrels / Mirimar Disaster)
      Duncan Hall (And non of them new they were robots / Send More Paramedics)
      Dave Cullern (just a nice bloke who is also a mortician!)

      I'll give you more news once we can get steve albini to sort the recordings out :-)

    • Been there. Hate it. They gave me a cymbal once that was actually cracked all the way to the centre. Dire place.

    • Survival Acton, quite cheap with amusing mirror on one wall of the rooms, Alaska in Waterloo, more expensive but good

    • Unit 9 in balham used to be quite good but its in balham and a fair distance from the tube station. Other than that place in deptford is near the dlr music city maybe called. Practised there with my band good gear and not over pricey. Hope that helps.

    • Avoid Alaska. Run by a nasty old witch, have some funny ideas on cancellations and are well expensive.

      Enterprise are much better these days. Granted, that still make them pretty shitty, but you can't grumble at the price/location.

      Unit 9 is okay, just a bit out of the way.

      Karma in Stoke Newington are great/cheap. But PA's are a bit weak.

    • Been to Rooz - its fucking lush. Overall though its a good price and I wopuld more than want to go there, especially if we get a second guitarist, which would work out well cheap. Cheers fellas!
