      Also Monster, Jeniger, Systral, Minion, Acme, Luzifers Mob, ABC Diablo, Battle Royale... loads of ace heavy H/C bands
      
      Manowar are kind of German by default these days too. It is the home of True Metal.
      
      The first couple of Kreator albums fucking kill. German 80s thrash was fantastisch; Exumer, Sodom, Deathrow etc.
      
      Another thumbs up for Einstuerzende Neubauten and I'll add Can, Neu! and Faust to the mix. Also the excellent Blackwater Park (early 70s heavy riffmongers).
