     Arguably the UK's best recent death metal act. These guys have slayed Skill Wizard before and are always welcome. Killer riffing, no bullshit approach and permanent wind-milling hair. Fuck everything after 92, this is real death metal.

     I get approached by a lot of doom bands but Wiht really have proved themselves with their releases and some killer writing. Taking their queues from Sleep and similar but not ripping them off at all, this will be very stimulating riff-mongery, smoke up. Don't miss!

   • Fucking awesome night in my opinion. Really enjoyed Wiht and Decrepid were ball-crushing. I must admit, Conan still don't do it for me though.
     
     Was fun, some cool people to catch up with.

     It's all well and good tuning low but you have to have speakers that can handle the noise you're making.

   • Interesting, thanks. Some of my mates really loved Conan, be interested to finally see them sometime. It is a bit too much like Torche for me personally, I prefer olde doom like Witchsorrow etc.
     
     Lorient was great fun yeah, French treat you well yeah, stage/room was crazy big, we sounded tasty and played well, caused some confusion with heaviness etc but won them over in the end for sure.

      Yeah I agree with Westy, Conan are a bit self indulgent for me. The song they open with "Satsumo" is jaw-dropping, and if the rest of the set were in that vein I would be hooked, but it very much stagnates from there.
