Skill Wizard presents another perfect night of heavy bands, good vibes and the best old metal DJing from TERRORIZER, MUTANT and THE LAZE and the usuals until the authorities arrive...
Praise Crom! Ridiculously heavy metal from the Aurora Borealis doomers. Downtuned to just under Satan's own balls, they pump out killer mountain sized riffs like it's no big deal. Fresh, unmissable heaviosity. And if you don't listen ..."Then to hell with you!"

DECREPID (10.45)
Arguably the UK's best recent death metal act. These guys have slayed Skill Wizard before and are always welcome. Killer riffing, no bullshit approach and permanent wind-milling hair. Fuck everything after 92, this is real death metal.

WIHT (9.45)
I get approached by a lot of doom bands but Wiht really have proved themselves with their releases and some killer writing. Taking their queues from Sleep and similar but not ripping them off at all, this will be very stimulating riff-mongery, smoke up. Don't miss!

Interesting, thanks. Some of my mates really loved Conan, be interested to finally see them sometime. It is a bit too much like Torche for me personally, I prefer olde doom like Witchsorrow etc.
Lorient was great fun yeah, French treat you well yeah, stage/room was crazy big, we sounded tasty and played well, caused some confusion with heaviness etc but won them over in the end for sure.
Yeah I agree with Westy, Conan are a bit self indulgent for me. The song they open with "Satsumo" is jaw-dropping, and if the rest of the set were in that vein I would be hooked, but it very much stagnates from there.
