   • Just in case you didn't know, BBC4 are continuing their series of Classic Album programmes tonight with Black Sabbath's Paranoid.
     
     It's followed by a repeat of the Heavy Metal Britannia documentary shown earlier this year and the excellent Anvil!The Story of Anvil.
     
     A good night for staying in with a few cans and cranking up the telly.

   • So how was the night of METAL? I spent lots of money and had a shit night..Also my train home was delayed by 50 minutes..NEVER go on work nights out.

   • I drank loads of booze, dressed like Andrew WK and have to be up in 3 hours.
     
     I partied hard.
     
     There was also an Ozzy tribute band, a Pantera tribute, and an Alice Cooper one. Despite the Cooper one having a live snake, the Pantera one rocked my socks off.

      It was a real moment of anticipation when they were walking down the hallway towards that stage in Japan. Yeah really happy for them! Real heart-wrenching stuff about METAL.
      
      The program on Paranoid was well done, with all the band members interviewed and bits of jamming. Geezer is priceless, so deadpan.
