    • Good interview with a great band.

One of my all time biggest disappointments was travelling to see them in Brum in 1990, only to get to Edwards no. 8 and see a sign on the door saying that it was cancelled. Rather than traipse back home, me and my mates went to the flicks to see Exorcist 3 which was shit.

It was especially bad because they had said before the tour they couldn't wait to play Brum because of it being Sabbath and Priest city. They claimed they were going to do a 3 hour set as a tribute! FUUUUCCKKKK! Life is a shitty heap sometimes.

A 3-hour Vitus set in Eddie's would've been monsterously epic!!

I went there a couple of times before it got burned down - a truly fucking hellish rock club, grimy as Satan's bumhole. Only rock "pub" I've ever had the pleasure of being full-body searched at.

Nice interview Marek, Dave sounds like a top dude!

    • Thanks guys, yeah he was very fucking cool, very easy to talk to even tired and with a cold, proper doom gent. With the new drummer they are formidable live, don't miss if they come back.

      This sucks. 1990!

    • Pretty inspirational to see guys that have been doing it over 30 years, never achieving huge success but still doing it becuase they love it.

    • Yeah, love this bit...

"If you’re really serious about the genre of music you’re in and the music that you’re writing, don’t let other people tell you it’s wrong. Even if people say ‘You suck!’ Tell them, ‘Hey, you know what? You suck too, bitch. Get out of my fucking face!’"

Yeah, preach on Brother Chandler, amen to that.
