      2) Chickenhawk - s/t
      3) Torche - Meanderthal

      These are all amazing.

      Few more-

Harvey Milk- Life... The Best Game In Town
Asva- What you Don't Know Is Frontier

I'm sure there will be more, its only August.

    • Oh I haven't heard it yet, but I expect "Happy Birthday" by HC to be amazing too.

    • Number 1 goes to Torche definitely.

Beehoover is also up there. There's a few others but nothing else really sticks out.

    • Yeah, Torche may be in there for me. Top ones for definite so far are:

      Black Mountain: In The Future
      Howlin' Rain: Magnificent Fiend
      Witch: Paralyzed

      Contenders include:

      The Raconteurs
      Brant Bjork
      My Morning Jacket
      Grand Magus
      Deadbird
      The Music

...and if The Exit put out their third album this year as promised i'm sure that'll be straight in to my top 5.

agreed, i thought it was ace when i got it, but it's quickly falling from favour - it's too plodding and dull and oh, woe is me i get to make music for a living, oh what a tough life. the debut's much better.
    • Smockboy25Smockboy25
    • Would say Earth - The Bees Made Honey In The Lion's Skull would be up there
