   • Hello people of the Ninehertz!
     
     I Saw The Deep is a brand new band, just surfacing. I'd like to think of our sound as just heavy music, inspired by sci-fi and all things beyond. We've been labeled from post-prog to deep rock to heavy psych metal. It's all good 'casue labels don't really matter to us so feel free to give it a name for yourself!
     
     Here's a brief description from a reviewer:
     
     “…if you can hear in your mind something that mixes the heavy riffs of Mastodon, the trance-inducing vocals of Alice in Chains, the mysticism of The Tea Party and the psychedelic sensibilities of early Pink Floyd, you might be on the right track for describing I Saw the Deep."
     
     We've released our debut album 'Astronavigation' earlier this year, this is available for download and /or purchase at isawthedeep.bandcamp.com/

     Thanks to my kind mate at The Sudgelord blog, I've been able to discover this site and it seems a damn fine place to start spreading the word about this band.
     
     We want to try and get a foot in to do a couple of shows in the UK, starting with the London area, at the beginning of next year. If you guys have any tips on matching bands, a willing promoter, a reviewer excited to write an article or some other good samaritan eager to help, pls let us know!
