   • I've already invited some folk to this on facebook, but since there's some on here I know & on there I don't, I figured I'd peddel my 'night out' wares here too.
     
     Basically I'm attempting an almighty pissup on this day/evening. Here's the link:

     "I wanna get pissed up on the 23rd? who's with me? The kind of pissed that you can't remember the following day. The kind you wish never happened. The kind it takes 5 whole days to get over.
     
     I recon I'll go if there's 1 or 100 people either way.
     
     So here's what I'm thinking.
     
     There's no fucking way I'm going to Cavendish, because it sucks major, & since I'm trying to organise it here's what we ought to do.
     
     Meet at Bankers Draft (next to castle square tram stop) few there.
     Round corner to Dove & Rainbow for their Christmas event thing.
     Over towards Nelson possibly
     Next onto Dev Cat for some real beer
     Into the Washington for what ever is happening there.
     Up to the Frog & Parrott & along to Bungalows & Bears
     Back towards the centre for a couple at the Dog & Partridge
     Finish up at the Grapes in the hope theres a band on.
     
     No clubs, & people drop in & out as we go basically."

   • sounds like a nightmare to me I hate crowded bars and noise ,and all those pubs are awful except maybe the Dove.
     But what's it got to do with me anyway?
     The Brown Bear is where it's at.
     £1.72 a pint of Taddy lager and no young people or music.
     bliss.
     There's a gig on at Stockroom that night.
