    • I've kind of offered it to Jack, but if he doesn't want it, it's yours.

    • Due to my mate being a penniless dick, I now also have a spare ticket to flog!

Message me/post on here if interested.

    • Have fun tonight!

If it's one tenth as much fun as the Roadburn set you'll have a great night.
    • mambamamba
    • Hope so.

My boss has kindly booked me a meeting at 3:30 this afternoon. I was hoping to leave at 4:30 to get up to London in plenty of time for a beer or two. I will be hurrying the meeting along.

Silly cow hasn't even turned up yet. I've told the boss I'm not coming to the meeting now. I'm getting on the rock n roll train.

    • That was fun, pleasently surprised they played Spaceship Landing and Whitewater.

It felt a bit like watching Metallica. A cover band these days, but the best cover band ever.

Didn't realise Kyuss fans were so into throwing beer over each other, had to have a shower when I got home!

    • Best amusing quotes from Desertscenes facebook staus:

'A was fucking there man . Touch john garcias hand haha .'

'It was awesome ay Barry, and I got a water bottle from John Fuckin' get in Ben Ward being there was cool too !'

    • Fun times. Good crowd. Good set.

    • It was eight tons of fun!! I really enjoyed it and it was a good-time party atmosphere from the word Go! The band themselves played the songs with a lot of respect and even threw in the odd different solo etc. Some of it sounded amazing and some of it sounded fuck-all like Kyuss, but it was a celebration and a piss-up rather than OMG IT'S KYUSS!!

      Setlist (I think!!):

      Molten Universe
      Thumb
      Hurricane
      One Inch Man
      Freedom Run
      Asteroid
      Odyssey
      Gloria Lewis
      100Degrees
      Spaceship Landing
      Demon Cleaner
      Allens Wrench
      Whitewater
      Gardenia
      Green Machine
      *************************************
      El Rodeo
      Pilot The Dune

Sorry to Mamba for drinking his beer - I owe ya buddy!

It's ok, I had plenty of my own! I tried a couple of times to get over to where you were without much luck.

    • I seem to be the only person around that isn't exactly bowled over by Kyuss. I like them (I'm giving them a spin on my ipod right now) and they're a damn sight better than the turgid wank that Josh Homme seems content to spew out nowadays but after Blues for the red Sun I never really flipped for them like everyone else did.
