   • Nah, Gloomy Sunday were headlining, Black Sun played before Blackstar.
     
     Casbah deserve a little credit for the sound, but honestly I've seen Blackstar a good few times now and they'd sound amazing playing in a garden shed. Those fellows know about tone.

     Jucifer - Corp (supporting Today is the Day)
     
     kevorkiansolution - Grapes (come back gig, with visuals, insane)
     
     Pilgrim Fathers, Gentlemans Pistols, Dirtyblood, Threads - Redhouse (our January gig, what a line up)
     
     Acid Mother's Temple - Shakespeare (weird)
     
     Earth - Manchester Zion Arts Centre (last but certainly not least, absolutely mesmeric)
     
     
     These were all amazing.
     
     Other gigs of note for me have been-
     
     Chris Corsano/Mick flower duo at Heeley Institute.
     
     Hey Colossus/Acid Mothers Temple/Aufgehoben/Lords etc at Hokaben (but the majority of that fest's atmosphere was awful)
     
     Isis and Torche at Corp (best time I've seen Isis)

      Don't cry for Hoon, he was one of the most physically attractive men that ever lived. That should be accomplishment enough for anyone, no matter how long or short their drug-addled lives may be.
